Constructing Hope was honored to have Roy Jay of Project Clean Slate & Project Second Chance give our Keynote speech for our winter 2014 graduation ceremony. It was a magical evening that was indicative of the hard work our 21 graduating students endured during their 9 week training course. Project Clean Slate is a Portland-based program that helps its program participants address and resolve outstanding warrants and various legal issues. It is the only known program of its kind and it has helped many Constructing Hope students. The program’s participants – “if they are accepted and fulfill all its terms — are able to resolve outstanding warrants and legal problems without becoming mired in the criminal justice system.” Constructing Hope Spring Class will begin April 14, 2014. We hope to see “You” at the next Constructing Hope graduation!
