Social Media Ambassador
Constructing Hope Pre-Apprenticeship Program is looking for social media-savvy people to help us spread the word about our work to rebuild the lives of people in our community through skills training and education in the construction industry.
Hands-on Trainer:
Classroom trainers and instructors are needed for completing the hands-on training our students receive during their classes. We prefer a journeyman certification in carpentry or similar trade.
Mentor:
Mentors attend our mentor gatherings and talk with the students (current and past) to help them be successful in their apprenticeship programs. Discussions range from balancing work and home, to how to impress your foreman. Come share your knowledge of the construction industry with our students.
Math Tutor:
Our students learn applied construction math. Some need extra assistance to catch up to what is industry standard for their desired apprenticeship. Come help a student succeed by getting into a career.
Fundraiser/Event Volunteer:
We have opportunities for volunteers to be a part of our fundraising campaigns and events. From on-site event volunteer tasks to helping us build relationships with other organizations in the community, we’d love to have you on the team!
Office Assistance:
What office doesn’t need more help with the data input, phone calls, filing, and organizing?
Maintenance Assistance:
We know things break and we know we don’t always have the time/resources to get everything fixed and cleaned up. Are you able to help with small projects around the building?
